A personal note from Ocean Robbins

In his 70s, my Grandpa Irv (who founded Baskin-Robbins ice cream company) became seriously ill...

He’d always eaten the standard American diet, plus a double scoop of ice cream on top, and now he was suffering from the standard American diseases.

That was his wake-up call.

His doctor told him that he'd have to take seven medications three times every day for the rest of his life and that unless he changed his diet, he likely had only a few years to live — in poor health.
