I’m an environmental health scientist and professor, and director of the University of California, San Francisco Program on Reproductive Health and the Environment. My work focuses on uncovering and addressing environmental determinants of disease and health inequities. My research covers how harmful chemicals and pollutants impact health, pregnancy, and child development. I also lead efforts to translate scientific information into actionable change in the clinic and through public policy. Previously I served as a senior scientist and policy advisor for the US EPA’s Office of Policy.
