Ingredients
Directions
Add chickpeas to a medium bowl.
Sprinkle curry powder on top and mix well until the chickpeas are coated. (Our chickpeas were moist, which helped the curry to stick. No oil needed!)
Spread out evenly in your air fryer basket or tray, set the temperature to 390 degrees F and cook for 12 minutes, tossing halfway through. Note that air fryer temperatures can vary (similar to oven temps!) so check the chickpeas for doneness when you toss them halfway through. You may need more or less time.
Chef's Notes
Substitutions
Use another white bean of choice in place of chickpeas.
Traditional oven directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the bites evenly distributed on the baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Prep Ahead
If using homemade chickpeas, soak and cook them ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Storage
Store leftover chickpeas in a bowl at room temperature for up to 24 hours or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the Air Fryer at 390 degrees F for 3–5 minutes.
