Ingredients

 1 cup parsley (roughly chopped)
 2 tsp organic lemon zest
 2 medium garlic cloves (roughly minced)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until the parsley is minced and garlic is blended. Alternatively, you could use a mortar and pestle to combine the ingredients into a pesto-like consistency.

Spoon over grilled tofu or tempeh, steamed veggies, grain bowls, salads, or on top of veggie burgers.

Chef's Notes

Substitutions
Although not traditional to Italian gremolata, you can substitute parsley with your favorite fresh herb of choice, like basil, cilantro, or sage.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
