Ingredients
2cupsplant-based milk (unsweetened, plain or vanilla)
1tspground turmeric
½tspground cinnamon
½tspground ginger
4pinchesground cardamom
2pinchesstevia (+1–2 pinches as desired, optional)
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, over medium/medium-high heat.

Whisk, allowing the milk to heat through. This should only take a few minutes, so keep an eye on the milk so it doesn’t boil over or scorch.

Once warmed through, pour into a mug. Taste, and if you’d like a little extra sweetener, add to taste.
Chef's Notes
Spices Feel free to tweak the spices to your taste. Add more ginger, or try some nutmeg instead of cinnamon. Also, if you are a chocolate lover, whisk in a tablespoon or two of fairly traded cocoa powder!
Add a pinch or two of freshly ground black pepper to boost the bioavailability of the turmeric.
Stevia If you use a sweetener, you can opt for pure maple syrup, to taste, instead.
