2bags of lavender tea (or 2 teaspoons of dried lavender buds)
10drops of lavender oil (optional; or other essential oil of your choice)
Directions

Heat the water on the stovetop until just before boiling.

Add the chamomile and lavender tea bags or (loose-leaf tea and buds in a tea strainer) to a glass bowl, 16-ounce mason jar, or other glass container that can hold 16 ounces of water plus the tea bags.

Allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes.

Remove the tea bags or tea strainer from the glass container.

Transfer the tea to a spray bottle and add the drops of oil if desired. Tip: Transfer approximately half of the mist into a spray bottle and store in your bathroom in a cool dark place for daily use, and store the remainder in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Spray DIY facial mist 3–5 times both morning and night or whenever you feel you’d like a little calming refresher.
Chef's Notes
Substitutions In place of lavender buds, try dried rose hip.
In place of chamomile tea try green tea.
In place of lavender tea try rose hip tea. You may find some that include hibiscus which can help with inflamed skin as well.
Storage Store your DIY facial mist in the refrigerator for up to one month or at room temperature in a cool dark place for up to one week.
