Kasra Zarei a medical and graduate student at the University of Iowa and aspiring physician-scientist. His research interests and work broadly focus on multicultural health, traumatic and adverse experiences, and other social determinants of health and disparities among immigrants, refugees and other underserved populations. He joins the team at The Inquirer as an AAAS Mass Media Fellow.
