Summary

Magic happens when you cook brownies in an air fryer — they turn out perfectly crispy on the outside with a moist, dense texture on the inside. Yum! Plus, these brownies have fiber from the oat flour, antioxidants from the cacao powder, omega-3 fatty acids from the flax meal, and are oil-free!

Chef's Notes

Substitutions
In place of oat flour, use whole wheat or almond flour.

Try chia seeds in place of flax meal.

Use unsweetened organic applesauce in place of banana.

Instead of walnuts, use pecans, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts or other nuts of your choice.

Oven directions
Making this in the oven instead of an Air Fryer? Follow the directions above but instead of the Air Fryer, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for 30–35 minutes.

Sugar-free
Use date paste in place of maple syrup.

Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 30.
