Whether you want to spice up your breakfast routine or healthfully indulge in a sweet and savory snack between meals, this recipe will tantalize your taste buds and ignite your passion for aesthetically pleasing plant-based toast!
1batch Almond Ricotta Cheese (link in Chef’s Notes )
1batch Balsamic Fig Jam (link in Chef’s Notes)
2slices whole grain bread (of choice)
1organic pear (sliced in quarters, deseeded and thinly sliced )
thyme, fresh or dried (optional) for garnish

Prepare Almond Ricotta Cheese, and set it aside.

Prepare Balsamic Fig Jam, and set it aside.

Assemble your ricotta toast: spread 1–2 tablespoons of ricotta between each of the two slices of toasted whole-grain bread, spreading it out evenly on each slice.

Repeat the same process with the fig jam, using 1–2 tablespoons per slice, spreading it evenly over the top of the ricotta.

Lay pear slices neatly across each slice of toast.

Sprinkle with optional thyme, if desired.
