Prepare Almond Ricotta Cheese, and set it aside.
Prepare Balsamic Fig Jam, and set it aside.
Assemble your ricotta toast: spread 1–2 tablespoons of ricotta between each of the two slices of toasted whole-grain bread, spreading it out evenly on each slice.
Repeat the same process with the fig jam, using 1–2 tablespoons per slice, spreading it evenly over the top of the ricotta.
Lay pear slices neatly across each slice of toast.
Sprinkle with optional thyme, if desired.

Substitute pear with your favorite crisp apple of choice.

Prepare the Almond Ricotta Cheese ahead of time. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Prepare the Balsamic Fig Jam ahead of time. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Store all components separately in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
