Almond Ricotta Pear Toast with Balsamic Fig Jam

Ingredients

 1 batch Almond Ricotta Cheese (link in Chef’s Notes )
 1 batch Balsamic Fig Jam (link in Chef’s Notes)
 2 slices whole grain bread (of choice)
 1 organic pear (sliced in quarters, deseeded and thinly sliced )
 thyme, fresh or dried (optional) for garnish

Directions

Prepare Almond Ricotta Cheese, and set it aside.

Prepare Balsamic Fig Jam, and set it aside.

Assemble your ricotta toast: spread 1–2 tablespoons of ricotta between each of the two slices of toasted whole-grain bread, spreading it out evenly on each slice.

Repeat the same process with the fig jam, using 1–2 tablespoons per slice, spreading it evenly over the top of the ricotta.

Lay pear slices neatly across each slice of toast.

Sprinkle with optional thyme, if desired.
