Chef's Notes
Substitutions In place of pear, use apple. Instead of cabbage, try red bell pepper or jicama.
Type of pear You can use Bartlett, Anjou, Bosc or any pear you love. It’s important that it’s ripe but firm and not too mushy.
Sugar-free Use date paste in place of maple syrup.
Prep Ahead Prepare the dressing ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Storage Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
