Summary

Grab your favorite bowl of dark leafy greens and get ready to savor the flavor and benefits of this Creamy Garlic Dressing. Garlic, tahini, lemon, and ginger add a variety of vitamins and minerals — including B vitamins, vitamin C, folate, selenium, and manganese, not to mention loads of phytonutrients — to this creamy dressing. Creamy Garlic Dressing also makes an excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich condiment, so don’t be afraid to use it liberally!

Ingredients

½ cup plant-based yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
 1 tbsp tahini
 2 tbsp organic rice vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tsp coconut aminos (or reduced-sodium organic tamari)
1 tbsp maple syrup (or date paste, link in Chef’s Notes)
 2 tsp dijon mustard
 1 tsp ginger (minced)
 1 tsp garlic (minced)
2 tbsp water (plus more as needed)

Directions

1

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. A small carafe blender may work best; however, a large blender should also be fine. You just might need to use a spatula to move the ingredients off the sides and blend a few times.

2

Taste for additional ingredients of choice like more garlic (for more garlic flavor!), lemon (for sour and tart), or tahini (for nutty flavor and creamy texture). Or add more water, one tablespoon at a time, if needed for consistency.

3

Drizzle your creamy garlic dressing over veggies, grain bowls, salads, tofu, and more!

Whole Food Sweetener
