Ingredients

 1 cup ripe papaya (cut into 1” cubes, fresh, frozen, or unsweetened canned, BPA-free)
 ½ tsp ground turmeric
 1 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
 ½ cup plant-based yogurt (unsweetened)
 ½ cup pineapple (cut into 1” cubes, fresh, frozen or canned, unsweetened and BPA-free)

Directions

Add the papaya, turmeric, and lime juice to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Pour the papaya turmeric blend into four popsicle molds, filling the molds only ⅓ of the way.

Rinse out the blender then blend the yogurt and pineapple in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Pour the yogurt pineapple blend into the second third of the mold. Filling the molds ⅔ of the way will allow for expansion.

Freeze for at least two hours before enjoying!

Chef's Notes

Substitutions
Substitute papaya with mango, guava, kiwi, or cantaloupe.

Substitute plant-based yogurt with blended cashew cream or silken tofu.

How to Pour the Blends into the Popsicle Molds
You can pour the papaya first so that it covers the entire bottom of the mold before pouring the pineapple mixture over top. Or you can make the papaya blend first and place it in a bowl before making the pineapple blend. Then pour the papaya into the bottom portion of the popsicle mold followed by pouring the pineapple blend on the top portion of the mold. Repeat for the remaining three molds.

Make it Therapeutic
Add a dash of ground black pepper to the papaya blend to help the curcumin, or active compound in turmeric to be more absorbable.

Storage
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to six weeks.
