Summary

Sweet and spicy lovers, this one’s for you! Naturally sweet mango combined with creamy avocado and bright lime with a dash of chipotle chili powder makes for a culinary delight that’s both cooling and warming, not to mention nutrient-filled. And, if you don’t love spice, don’t worry, these popsicles are delicious without it! Make it a three-ingredient recipe with just the mango, avocado and lime juice.

Ingredients

2 cups mango (cubed, fresh or frozen)
1 cup avocado (cubed, fresh or frozen)
cup lime juice (freshly squeezed, plus 2 teaspoons)
¼ tsp chipotle chili powder (or regular chili powder)
1 jalapeño (optional, seeded and roughly chopped, +1 if desired)

Directions

1

Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

2

Taste for additional flavor of your choice (more mango for sweetness, more lime for tartness, more chipotle chili for spice).

3

If desired, blend in the jalapeño (note that the jalapeño may override some of the mango flavor so if you prefer more mango, skip the jalapeño).

4

Pour the mango mixture into popsicle molds, filling ¾ full to allow for expansion.

5

Freeze for at least two hours before serving.
