Homemade Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

 3 tbsp tahini
 4 tbsp organic tamari (reduced-sodium, or coconut aminos)
 3 tbsp organic rice vinegar
 3 tbsp maple syrup (or date paste, link in Chef’s Notes)
 1 ½ tbsp gochujang (optional or sriracha)
 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
 1 ½ tsp onion powder
 1 tbsp water

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl.

Taste for additional ingredients of your choice (more gochujang for spice, more rice vinegar for acid, or more garlic or onion powder for pungency).

Use as a marinade or sauce for veggies, tofu, mushrooms, and more!
