Ingredients
1 onion (diced)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
12 oz non-dairy yogurt (plain, unsweetened)
1 tsp vegan worcestershire sauce (+1 tsp as desired)
fresh chives (chopped, to taste)
salt (optional, to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)
veggies (for dipping)
Directions
1 Line a skillet with a thin layer of water.
2 Add the onions and sauté until they’re brown and caramelized, about 30 minutes. (Add 1 tbsp of water to deglaze the pan and prevent sticking.)
3 Once the onions are caramelized, add the garlic and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
4 Transfer the onion mixture to a small bowl, and chill for 30 minutes.
5 Stir in the yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, and chives and stir to combine.
6 Season with salt and pepper.
7 Taste, adding more salt, pepper, chives, or Worcestershire sauce.
