Ingredients

 1 medium-large avocado (seed removed)
 ½ cup plant-based yogurt (unsweetened, unflavored)
 ½ cup cilantro (roughly chopped)
 2 small fresh garlic cloves
 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
 ¼ tsp salt (optional)
 ground black pepper (optional) to taste

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until creamy.

Taste for additional flavors of choice (cilantro for more herb, lime for tart, garlic for, well, more garlic!). Add freshly ground black pepper, if desired.

Use on salads, tacos, veggie burgers, veggies and more!

Chef's Notes

Substitutions
Use parsley, basil or chives in place of cilantro.

Substitute lemon juice in place of lime juice.

For the yogurt, homemade will be your most budget-friendly option. If you choose to purchase store bought plant-based yogurt, make sure to shop around. Some brands can be half the cost compared to others, but with the same nutritional values and probiotics. Also, make sure your yogurt is unsweetened and unflavored.

How to Use
Add a little water for a thinner consistency to make a salad dressing.

Use on top of a grain bowl.

Spread in wraps and sandwiches.

Add to tacos and burritos.

Use as a veggie dip.

Spread on top of grilled tofu or tempeh.

Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 30 days.
